Fiorello Tosoni usually and preferably paints from life, but where
the availability of the subject is not possible for any reason, photographs
can be used.
His high professional experience of a life, spent in painting portraits
in Italy and abroad, aloud him even with the only photographic image
to achieve very high results in the creation of a work of art.
This site wants to refer about the portraits by Fiorello Tosoni in
the various techniques, for whom who wish to know his painting more
in detail.
"The sanguine" is a iron oxide that is found in nature, of colour
ochre red, in the various tonalities. Tosoni like the old masters,
uses it on special papers, prepared by hand by him-self The technique
also remaining monochrome, comes upon request of the customer, elaborated,
and the artistic results turned out extremely high.
"Mixed techniques" portraits in colours, executed with a particular
technique processed by the master in many years of studying.
"Portraits in oil" also here, is used one ancient technique in the
drawing up of the colours.
"Egg tempera portraits " these last ones are painted with colours
prepared by hand by Tosoni, with a formula that goes back to the 1400's.
The drawings and paintings are framed with frames of Renaissance type,
wisely worked by hand, in the most pure traditions of the Florentine
craftsmanship, under the supervision of Tosoni, so that every work
on the basis of dominant colours, will be perfectly inserted in its
frame.
Fiorello Tosoni, by written agreements, is available to execute portraits
in Italy and abroad.
